On Wednesday 12th July, the weather was finally on our side and we took to the field to show off our running, jumping and throwing skills.
We participated in a range of events; some were competitive and some were to achieve personal targets and goals.
We had a brilliant time and worked together to gain points for our House Teams. Well done to Silver Birch, who collected the most points and were the overall winners.
On Wednesday afternoons, Year 2 have been developing their football skills with a specialist PE coach.
It has been lovely to observe the progress they have made over the course of the sessions.
Next Wednesday will be our Sports Day (weather permitting). Please make sure your child has a full PE kit in school.
Today we rotated round the KS1 classrooms, completing different activities.
In the Year 2 classroom, we learnt about Chinese food.
We decorated chopsticks and noodle boxes. We created noodles from collage materials and used the chopsticks to pick things up!
We tasted prawn crackers, hoisin sauce and sweet chilli sauce.
